As The Movement Cooperative prepared to host its first hybrid industry conference in 2023, the need for a cohesive, distinct visual identity became clear. I was tasked with creating branding and marketing materials that balanced accessibility, cohesion, and innovation.

The Vision
The objective was to develop a branding suite that resonated with TMC’s mission and values while creating a unique identity for the conference. Success would mean producing high-quality digital and print materials that engaged attendees and embodied the inclusive spirit of the event.
The Journey
Initial Concept Development
We collaborated closely with TMC’s Member Experience Team to align on themes and visual direction. We explored various logo concepts, digital assets, and merchandise designs that reflected TMC’s progressive values.
Comprehensive Brand Asset Development
After initial alignment, We developed a range of comprehensive brand assets. This included designing print materials like banners, event programs, and promotional flyers to ensure the visual identity was consistent across all touchpoints.
Print Production and Quality Assurance
After finalizing the brand assets, we moved into the print production phase, collaborating with print vendors to ensure high-quality outputs for conference materials. This step included detailed proofing for color accuracy, print finishes, and layout precision. We also coordinated the delivery timeline to align with the conference schedule, ensuring that all physical materials were ready for distribution on-site.
The Impact
The cohesive branding and well-executed marketing materials significantly enhanced the visibility and professional tone of The Movement Conference. The positive response from attendees and stakeholders demonstrated the success of balancing innovation with TMC’s established identity.
Reflection
This project reinforced the importance of cohesive branding across digital and print formats.
